- New trade fair for the cleaning and facility management industry to launch at Lake Constance, September 15–17, 2026
- Future-driven platform offers fresh market dynamics in the heart of Europe
Friedrichshafen – The professional cleaning and facility management industry is getting a new stage: From September 15 to 17, 2026, Clean Pro Expo will make its debut at Messe Friedrichshafen. Designed as a future-driven platform, the event will focus on product showcases, networking and innovative business development, specifically tailored to the markets of Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland (D-A-CH) as well as neighboring regions. "The Clean Pro Expo will place a clear emphasis on the industry's future-focused topics, including robotics, new technologies, digitalization, sustainability and human resources (HR). The trade fair is intended as a complementary offer to existing leading industry events and aims to provide an efficient, cost-effective marketing and sales platform on a biennial basis," explains Klaus Wellmann, CEO of Messe Friedrichshafen, outlining the concept behind the new event.
Sustainable trade fair experience with cross-regional networking
The three-day trade fair will spotlight new technologies and concepts set to shape the future of the industry – from automated cleaning systems and resource-efficient processes to digital solutions and modern strategies for talent acquisition and personnel management. The expert-led supporting program is set to provide a valuable platform for in-depth discussion and exploration of these key industry topics. "Through numerous conversations with industry representatives, we know that the sector is facing major challenges when it comes to the shortage of skilled workers and the demand for targeted qualification." Together with a network of industry partners, we aim to create a forum at Clean Pro Expo to explore ways of improving the public image of the building cleaning profession," says Thomas Grunewald, Head of Guest Events at Messe Friedrichshafen. He continues, "For the new Clean Pro Expo, we’re developing a specialized program designed to make the trade fair experience intensive, focused and sustainable – carefully aligned with the needs of both exhibitors and trade visitors, with strong regional connectivity." With its geographical focus on Southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Northern Italy as well as neighboring markets such as France, the Czech Republic and Liechtenstein, the premiere of Clean Pro Expo in 2026 is expected to host around 200 exhibitors across two halls, covering a total area of 12,600 square meters.
